Default Repair Manual

Would the Hayes/Chilton manuals be a good guide for repairs? Are they detailed enough? I want to have something to aid in the up-keep of my car.

Of course a factory manual would be best but price is too high.

Thanks

There's a paperback manual (grey colour) which covers the 1.8T 2.0T and 3.2.

Haynes 15030 - A4 B7 2002-2008

Not up to much with regards to repair instructions but it is a good resource to have to hand.
Great for having torque specs etc.

They don't sell this manual in the UK, only a hardback one which doesn't cover all the bases.
edit: you can buy it online though, just not in Halfords or the like.
