SD Card - More than 2 Gigs?
#11
Espionage - I had a similar issue on my Scion. Check to make sure all the songs are MP3 and not WMA or MP4. Also, if you purchased any of the songs from iTunes you could be running into copy protection issues and that is why you are not able to copy the music on to your SD card.

I don't buy through iTunes (no copy protection issues) and all my songs are mp3's. Usually 128-192kbps and occasionally they are variable bit rate depending on how common the songs are on the P2P sharing thing I use for downloading. I have no problem copying songs onto the SD card, I just have a problem with the MMI system recognizing all the songs that are on the card. I know I am not maxing out the list because there are less than 300 songs and only about 1.5GB or less on each card. It does seem to be ignoring the same songs every time though so I will try to see what is different about those files.

I found some pretty good info here.

Also, I am pretty sure that i read some of why certain songs dont show up have to do with the tagging on the file being to long. basically, if the title of song and stuff is too long the RNS-E Navi doesnt recognize it. Hope this helps
