Default Sirius XM Radio

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and I have a question. I'm acquiring a 2004 Audi A8l and I want to know if this vehicle is Sirius XM Satellite radio compatible?

I want to do the very same thing. My AM and FM are great but no XM.

Again, look in the A8 section. Does your head unit have a button for satellite? Are then any menu options? Does the owners manual say anything about it? If no, then it's probably not factory ready.

If XM comes up on the screen, then the car should be capable of it and likely just needs an activated subscription. A8 forum should have the answer.

Default Sat radio

I purchased a 2007 a4 and it did not have sat radio. It did have the sat radio button on the symphony radio and when pressed said" not available" I had to switch leads in the passenger footwell from iPod integration to sat radio and purchased the sat radio " box" on eBay for $80 do not go to the dealer they will charge you $500+ Hope this helps
