ya, ive debated this with many of my friends, even some of the audi salesppl and nobody knows why audi has put it there, but i guess they put it there and have just stuck with it and never bothered moving it or the armrest

I have to pull the e brake up all the way! Its a psychological thing for me thatcomes from driving older POS with a POS e brake.

My wife complains about how hard it is for her to release the brake after I've set it. I tell her to man up.

Yeah, it's annoying. But 50% of the time I'm putting the top up or down, so I have to have the armrest up anyway. Oh, well...

I've had my car for 3 days now, and that was the first thing I noticed on the test drive, and now that I'm living with it, it really bugs me, since I use the armrest... Oh well. It's just a small grievance.

even pulling the e-brake "one click" on mine causes the armrest to touch. No need to pull with all your strength (i actually thought it was bad to pull too much)

The parking brake next to the armrest is really too tight and understand issue. I dont use mine.
