I have read the threads on changing a thermostat. My question is how hard a job is it for someone with limited mechanical abilities. I would hate to get half way into the job and find that I have bit off more than I can chew. B7 a4 2.0t

 

Haven't done it myself but it shouldn't be that bad. Grab yourself a repair manual and you should be able to follow it step by step.

 

Not hard. Search the b7 forum for the DIY. There's a good one. Just need a good torx sen and an allen set, plus basic tools depending on the way you do it. Hardest part is removing one of the hoses and getting to a bracket bolt. Very doable though.
