Hi everyone. Thanks for your page. 2005 Audi A4 2.0T.

I have a question on my CVT gearbox. When in automatic mode the cars drives normally. When I push the **** over to tiptronic nothing happens. The numbers don't appear and it just drives and shifts like in auto. The middle computer shows and stays on the PRND but doesn't show which gear is selected. It reverses, sport mode goes on but the shifting is not consistent. There's nothing to No kick down. I was told it could possibly be the transmission control module. Any suggestions? I know I should have it diagnosed but don't have the change. The CTech ELM327 Bluetooth OBD2 Car Diagnostic Interface Tool I got doesn't work LOL. Plug that in doesn't connect to any of the apps .. need to get that sorted that as well lol. Some insight on my gearbox please guys? what's the cost of this fix. I googled the price of a B7 TCM and it's R7k .. For real? Any advise? I stay in Cape Town SA.
