Default transmission jerking at acceleration and downshifting

Hello All...This is my first post here hoping to get an answer or direction on what might my issue be. Here goes it..I have a 2008 A4 2.0 Turbo-Quatro- automatic (CVT) transmission, 134k miles. lately I notice a jerk in the transmission as the car shifts on 2nd and 3rd as am accelerating. doesn't happen often though. Also at times as I am preparing to slow down at a red light when I hit the brakes I notice a small jerk while it's down-shifting. I think my temperature sensor is not giving the correct temperature, today it was 83 degrees on my apple watch but the car was saying 71. not sure if this is related or not. several discussion says if the coil goes bad might cause jerking in transmission..not sure how true is that or how is this related. I appreciate any thoughts/ideas/feedback. Thank you.

I didn't think you could get a CVT with Quatro. If you have a triptronic mine sometimes does that as well. Hasn't been severe or often enough for me to address. I think it could be the torque converter (I have the subtle surging as highway speeds when the car is cold).
