Guys,

My name is Irwan, I am driving AUDI A4 2007 2.0 Turbo. I am now experiencing problem as the transmission light on the display is blinking when I switch the gear to R (reverse) mode. I have sent the car to AUDI service center and apparently it is related to Transmission Module issue.

There are several information that I request if anyone can help, those are :
1. Is this issue common for AUDI A4 ?
2. Is is dangerous ? any particular impact to the other engine component or performance ?
3. As informed by the service center, the cost of fixing this issue is close to USD 2,500 both parts and installation ? Is this reasonable ? anyone knows to buy this component in Singapore at cheaper price ? if yes, can I hand carry the companent myself back to Indonesia ?

and...what did you do? sold your car?
I have idem problem now, idem Audi A4.
It`s posible to fit the TCM? did you buy the TCM a low cost?
