I have one.....Use it about 50% of the time, ,mostly after hard runs or long drive times.

2 mins? Thats a long as time with a water cooled turbo. Since the turbo is water cooled, most daily driving will be fine to shut off within 10-20secs of parking. If you are beating on it all the way to the parking spot, better make it 30-45sec.

yeah i try to drive slow for a lil while when im about to stop so i wont have to wait too long, but when your busy even 30s seems like a long time to wait.. i got my tt. i just havent gotten around to installing it...perhaps this weekend....

- on a side note, i got my first speeding ticket today hahahaha if the douche in front of me hadnt been going about 45 on the fwy i wouldnt have been so tempted to pass him...needless to say my foot didnt come off after that and motorcycle cop pulls me over...he came out of nowhere! or i was half asleep and didnt see him... either way, i got a ticket for going 95mph....at least he didnt stop me at 100+ im sure that would be pretty bad...

i've been advised against using them. they can cause some electrical ghosts in the ecu.

Can you lock your car with the remote with a turbo timer? I saw with the B6 you have to get an additional controller to do that, but I don't know if that's changed with the B7.
