Warranty question
I just bought a previously owned CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) A4, and I want the warranty to transfer. I have been told that the CPO extended warranty does not transfer, and I read on a forum that the policy was changed to this at some point in 2006.
It is also my understanding that the previous policy was that if one paid Audi $150 to transfer the CPO extended warranty, they would then honor it for the next owner. Well, while reading the CPO brochures that the previous owner left for me, there is a note about paying the $150 to have it transferred. Do you think that Audi would honor what the documents say? Any ideas?
Thanks,
