Default Washer Nozzle doesnt spray

Unplugged hose at both nozzles and get fluid spray. Normally I would say that the nozzles are plugged, but these have electrical plugs. Is there some troubleshooting I can do on the electrical end? I wouldn't think it's a nozzle since neither one works? What is it about the nozzle that is controlled electrically? I originally thought the reservoir was cracked, but it was just the hose blowing off the union connector from excess back pressure. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with electronic nozzles, can't see why they'd be electronic?? All that systems needs to be is a reservoir, pump, lines to supply the fluid up to the windshield and nozzles to spray it. Get yourself a sewing needle and stick it in the jet holes, you still could have something clogging the jets. I'll have to look at my car tonight to see if I have these "electronic nozzles"....that seems like an unnecessary item to have. But after all, we have Audis and some things are over thought

Yeah I finaly discovered that the nozzles are heated which won't do me much good down here in Florida lol. The nozzles were plugged. I sprayed a little brake parts cleaner in them and then took my air compressor and blew them out. All works fine now cept I still have some leaking going on up front. I think it's either the union connecting the two washer lines togeather or possibly the rubber grommet connecting the upper lower resevoirs togeather. Going to pick up a couple small clamps for the union that was mentioned in a few other threads.

Heated nozzles! Now that makes sense to me. I completely blanked that! Glad you got it working. Ya sounds like something simple up front...if you can see things clearly that is. Good luck!

I have a problem with my A6 quattro 2004. Windshield spray nozzles do not spray fluid when the hood is closed. When I lift the hood, the nozzles spray but the pressure is minimal.

I have tried cleaning the nozzles with a needle. The reservoir is full and the head lights jets are working full speed when the lights are ON.

Any suggestion will be appreciated

Check to see if your hoses are getting pinched somehow where the hood could pinch them or if they are getting kinked. Could they be leaking anywhere?
