What is the increase in boost if I put an APR 93 chip in my 07 2.0T? Also, what does it run stock? I've searched high and low and can't find these numbers.

Numbers will vary car to car.

Mine was about 8-9psi stock.

Stage 1 was 18 psi or so peak but fell off to 12-15 quickly.

Stage 2 is about 20-22 psi and quickly falls to 15 or 16 psi.

Our little pea shooter turbo's just won't hold the boost very long. If your PCV or Diverter valve is not tip top, you will see worse results.

be sure to buy the revision D (is that right?) diverter valve from the dealer before you chip it.

What are the benefits of the revision D DV?

It's not a diaphragm-based valve, so it won't tear under high boost. But I've been chipped for 12k miles now with my original DV intact.

The stock DV will blow up in a matter of weeks of being chipped, so if you don't replace that valve with a better one there is no point in chipping it.

Do you have a boost gauge? They can tear slightly and the car can still seem fine. You need a gauge for reference or just replace for piece of mind. Ive seen guys replacing for piece of mind only to find small tears and likely loosing a small amount of boost.

I do have a boost gauge, first thing I did. And after 12k miles and something over a year, I'm still holding full chipped boost. I see no reason to replace my DV early. If it fails, I will replace it then.

I would say most don't have a guage so if they don't intend on getting one they should just spring for the "D" valve.
