I just bought a 2007 Audi 2.0T Quattro cabriolet. It only has 32,000 miles and i just changed the oil with Mobile One 5W30 extended performance full synthetic. I was talking with a friend and he said that wasn't the right oil to use, and it needed a special low sulfur oil. I can't seem to find any information on this to confirm the information I got. Did I use the wrong oil? Should I have it changed ASAP? What oil should I use?

I think that is fine. I use the Mobil One European formula which I think is 0w40. As long as it is full synth you should be fine.

 

yea, idk about it being low sulfur or anything, that sounds like a diesel thing to me.
i use mainly mobil 1 0w40 but a lot more brands are making 'euro spec' oil now. just make sure it meets the audi/VW specs.
