What is really needed for chipping?
I haven't heard of anyone's timing belt breaking because of the chip. And I was looking to replace my DV not for more power (guess I typed that wrong, sorry) but to prevent the problem down the road. I know many people have chipped their cars and didn't have any problems but like mentioned above I would like to prevent any problems that chipping it will cause. If its just the DV then that's good. I have 20,000 miles on my 07 and at 50,000 I really wouldn't want to end up spending 2000 or so on all these little parts that the chip caused to blow out or whatever.....
aight well thanks for the input i'm defineltly going to chip my car over the summer so i appreciate the input i think i'll end up with a forge DV and i'll research a little bit more on the chip but thanks for the advice
