Default 09 Audi A4 Quattro idle shaking?

So for a couple of months now whenever I would start-up my Audi after it sits in the parking lot or garage for a couple of hours, I feel almost 90% of the time a heavy shake that lasts about a minute or two. I don't know why it happens but it never happened after I got my car serviced in December. I use only premium (93) gas from Exxon Mobil. Also I recently just got my Audi of last September and currently has 39,888 miles on it.

I've noticed that whenever I start up my car after sitting for more then 2 hours, I see that the RPM gauge is above 1200 RPM and then after it goes down the car SHAKES and it's a strong shake.

Any clues on what might be wrong or is this a common issue in all B8 Audi A4's?

i doubt your car is shaking that bad, if you're in park and at idle and your car is cold.. that high rpm and " shaking" is the warm up cycle. its normal

UNLESS, it is shaking really badly.. then your hydraulic motor mounts could be bad.. that is more likely if you have the 3.2 v6 but the 2.0 litres do blow out the motor mounts as well.

to check your motor mounts.. drop your belly pan they are all T25 screws, look on both sides of the motor, the motor mounts leak a pink hydraulic fluid, it will be obvious!

KCCO!
