I am considering buying an 2009 A4 2T Quattro - I read a few reviews on auto sites, and have walked away with a bad impression.
Being that was a small sample, I wanted to reach out to current owners of this model.

The vehicle I am considering has 129k miles, the piston recall work was done.

Is this vehicle a reliable one, or something to stay away from?

I preciously owned a 2010 S4 - so I am familiar with the high oil consumption.

 

I have a couple A4s and they are great cars. I bought the 2011 with 99k miles, so high mileage is not scary if it was maintained and the price is right. I did not experience oil consumption for about 20k miles, but now it is heavier than I like. But the $25k I saved buying a used Audi in excellent condition pays for a lot of oil at Walmart. Suggest you test drive it extensively and check every function and feature.
