Default 2014 A4 intermittent rough idle

When sitting in car while in park I can feel the vibrations of the engine idling, sometimes very noticeable and other times not so much. Every once in a while it gives off a pretty big vibration that you can feel on the shifter, on the gas pedal.

Is this considered somewhat normal? No sensors flashing or check engine lights on. Car runs great all day and all night, at low speeds and high speeds.

This is my first Audi and first German automobile.

Ok, I dont have the answer and I dont want to panic anyone but I just blew my motor with out any warning or strange sounds or lights in the system, what I did have what crazy idle at low RPM, like it was going to stall.

There are several reasons this could be happening. The 1st thing to check is your oil. Some of the reasons for this are bad gas , vacuum leak , bad spark plug or coil , bad PCV valve , dirty fuel injector and some others. Most of the time you will get a code but not necessarily one the triggers the check engine light. The dealer or a good independent shop can plug into the car and tell if there are any codes that are not displayed.
