Hey guys, looking at a new A4 Prem Plus for the wife. I come from the 2nd gen Infiniti G35/37s and they have excellent HD based Nav systems. The Audi system is still DVD based and I am just curious how it compares to other systems out there....

Is it worth the money?? touchscreen?? voice activated??

Also, do non-nav cars still have a screen or no?

As you can tell, we havent gotten overly far in our research on the Audi's yet.

I have the premium model and it does have the screen without nav

 

I have Nav with my 2009. I like it but there are some features that I absolutely hate.

1. it's NOT touch screen! You have to type everything using the roller on the console...
2. you can not search the restaurant guide by food type - it only lists them by distance or by name in ascending order. At least my little $200 Garmin offers these features...
