according to stasis rep.

"The only way to preserve the warranty is to have the components
installed at a Signature Series Audi dealer"

The $1495 price is just for parts not for the actual install of the GIAC modified ECU

---update
so, was told that the stasis ecu is just a new flash, nothing inside the factory ecu needs to change unlike the awe-tuning/GIAC solution. Also, the stadis version is close to the S-chip (giac) and not the X-chip. the X-chip requires a ecu modification and would void warranty.

I dont know they have a pretty good setup but if I wanted the drop I probably would of went the S-Line package to make it all that much sporty. Not shore about that but the exhaust and the chip is a winner in my books. Just wondering if these numbers by Statsis are hp/tq numbers at the wheels.

The numbers are on 91 octane at the wheel ... atlest that is what the stasis folks are telling. I have been putting in 93 most of the time anyway.....cant wait to et my ecu back from stasis.....hope they can have it done and installed by the weekend.

.....update....
numbers measured at crank with stasis ecm and exhaust are 305-315 lb/ft tq on my 6MT car. not sure the at wheel numbers.
