I'm looking into buying a 2011 a4 quattro with 8 speed. I want to get it up to APR Stage 3 after the warranty runs out. Question, how much power can the 8spd and quattro drivetrain handle reliably? I'd want to take it to a few drivers ed events later on too. With turbocharging and awd, it seems like a great platform for putting down 300hp. But im wondering how fragile or robust it is. Any opinions and experiences? Thanks.

 

I just read it from the Canadian Audi forum that APR ECU upgrade for 2011 A4 is not available. It may be available in a few months.

 

Tip and stage III are not friends. B8 trans is safely rate up to 400ft\lbs anything over and you might be spending more time in a shop then on the street
