Default Constant knocking when Accelerator isn't depressed

Hey guys, I've got a 2010 Audi A4 2.0tdi, bought it a couple of weeks ago and she's done a fair few miles for her age (100k) when I picked her up she was perfect, she's had a new clutch within the last 10k miles and 4 new brakes and pads.
The issue I'm having now, and it seems to have suddenly come on, is when I'm driving, in whatever gear I'm getting this clunking sound from what seems to be from the front of the car, to me it sounds like something spinning is catching something, so perhaps a driveshaft? But when I depress the gas/accelerator pedal the sound disappears. Jacked the car up and as I turned both front wheels on the axle you could hear it clunking then too, engine off.
I'll be taking it back to the garage I purchased it from ASAP, I just wondered if anybody had any ideas?
