need help with springs
I got 09 A4 2.0t quattro and looking to lower it. I never lowered any cars in the past. I need some help or sugestions which springs to get...eather Eibach or H&R. Also, I want to know what I need to do next after lowering it and anything that I need to know before lowering a brand new car.
Yea that ^^ or make shore you look into a Camber kit to make shore your wheels are still straight and alligned. You may want to look a bit more into the higher end products other then EB or H&R because you spent 40-50K on the car dont hold off on another 200bucks its your suspension it plays a big part of your driving.
I agree with kavan, you cannot go cheap on crucial components to a nice Audi vehicle, just like maintenence, you will be paying a high cost for products but the assurance of great quality comes with its price.
A brand you might want to look into is Tein or also see what other Audi owners have experienced with. From my knowledge, H&R and Eibach are the lower end suspension products.
After lowering a vehicle, alignment may need to adjusted and be weary of turning radius. The vehicle will no longer have as great of a turning radius as it did at stock height.
Also keep in mind, if you are planning on getting aftermarket rims; you must put width or bigger rim size into consideration with the new drop of your vehicle.
