Over revving changing gears

Over revving changing gears
Hey guys, 1st and foremost I am not a car person so apologies for my vocab. I have an 08 tdi A4 with 2 problems at the mo;
1, Over past few wewks it has been over revving changing gears or accelerating and then goin back to normal. I had clutch and flywheel done about 2 yrs ago and have only put up about 40000kms. Clutch doesnt seem to be slipping.
2, my fuel gauge is showing full all the time. Even when empty.
Any obvious answers to the above or any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
