Recently joined here to get some expert insight - hope this thread isn't misplaced!

I've been contemplating buying a 2009 A4 2.0T Sedan for a daily driver. This will be my only car, and needs to be reliable for long business trips as well. I'm relatively practical (starting working on cars at 12), but am not too familiar with how complex these vehicles can be, and don't want to spend a fortune in maintenance.

Would this be a solid decision? What issues are common or worth keeping an eye out for? How much would one typically run for maintenance/insurance on these?
