I just picked up an 09 A4 Premium model, and noticed that the rear view mirror is in my line of sight when making right turns. On some cars they have a dual pivoting hinge mirror that allows you to raise the height of the mirror about 2 inches which is about all i need. But with this model (and it looks like previous years as well) it's a single ball hook hinge which doesn't really allow height adjustment, just sight adjustment since it's stationary and pivots on a single ball joint... I hope that makes sense.
I've called a few Audi dealers in the region and none of them have any idea on how to remedy the issue... So I went to an auto glass place to simply just move the mirror up... However, there's a black dot on the windshield where the mirror sits, and it would be unsightly to move it like that...
I'm fairly tall at 6'6" so even slouching in the chair doesn't help much when coming around a bend and having to look through the turn

the 2009 A4 is pretty large on the inside which is really nice, fits my 6'6" frame pretty well for a car that is classified as a compact. i wanted an A6, but was just drawn to the new body styling of the A4. it's just plain sexy. Originally Posted by mr_synister

i still haven't figured out how to fix this issue, and none of the dealerships seem to have a clue either.
our friends on the uk forums have been trying to help me out, and have done a much better job than any service department i've been to yet.
