Apologies up front if this should be in the wheel/tire, etc section; I'm obviously a newbie.

I am looking for a good winter wheel tire setup for my 2010 A4 Avant. I know you usually want to go a little narrower for winter driving. I have 245/45R17 All seasons on there now. I was thinking of going to a 235/45R17 Blizzak WS70.

Any thoughts? Will that work for my car? I can actually get a set off someone for a decent price with wheels.. off an 08 A4

I liked the Blizzak WS70s on my 01 A4....

I'm in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado (Aspen, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs area) for reference. So, on snowpacked roads a decent amount.
