First Time Buyer, GENERAL ADVISE!
Hi, I am in the process of deciding between a few Audi A4's and it would help to know the opinion of some experienced owners.
All of these cars have relatively the same mileage around 80k, 1 owner, and are within a few thousand dollars of each other.
Option A: 2015 Audi A4 Premium Plus quattro Tiptronic ... ALSO still confused after avid research on if this considered B9 because most say B8?
Option B: 2011 Audi A4 Prestige quattro Manual 6-Speed
Option C: 2012 Audi A4 Premium quattro Automatic
Being that they all seem to be have been well maintained, single owners, and in a nice price range, I was wondering what seems to be the best bang for my buck. I plan on keeping up the maintenance but I would like to avoid any major common issues so I would like to know if theres anything to look for. Being that they are all pass the 75k mark, Option A is my go to being the newer one as I'd assume less issues. However, I would like manual and Option B would be the best I am just worried about the 2011 year as I've seen some issues while researching. The 2012 would sort of be my safety, it is also the cheapest. Any help is appreciated!

Hey There!
First of all, I have to say I absolutely love the A4. I have zero complaints.
Second, I did a disgusting amount of research before I decided and boy am I glad I did. After talking with a friend of my mom, he told me that pretty much any B7 or B8 model is subject to a ton of maintenance. (He owns a 2012 A4)
I would check out ConsumerReport and make sure that the year you decide on will be in for the long haul and not a complete lemon. (Lemon meaning it loses value every day in that everything ends up breaking and the repairs never end)
And I believe B9 is 2017-2020. I could be wrong but on consumer report that’s what it says.
Edit: also mine is an A4 Premium Plus 2017. It was categorized as a B9 which models started in 2017.
Edit 2: I forgot to mention that when I went to an Audi dealership to get a repair on the shield underneath the car it was $1200. The only thing that was broken was the shield and bolts missing. So if you ever get repairs, make sure to either fix it yourself or go to a local mechanic.
