Default Audi 1998 A4Quattro 2.8 L. doesn't communicate with DMV at time of inspection.
No communication with DMV at annual inspection. Anyone knows? Thanks

Have you only visited one shop?

Otherwise, there are only a few wires to track down. One is a +12v and the other is ground on the computer port. I would start by testing those wires or a fuse.

Thanks Pro the. Sorry for the delay in replying. One mechanic figured out the problem yesterday and clear it brake light on display and juggling with wires u mentioned and it communicated with the DMV. THANKS.
