I must say it's quite a relief to read about other people having huge issues with oil consumption in their A3s. I bought mine in 2006 February and the oil light has gone on at least 6 times. I uses about a litre every month and I have been told that this is "normal consumption" It seems ridiculous that a new car uses this much oil. I will not be buying another Audi and will be getting rid of this one very soon. Not very impressive for a high end car.

What engine is this? Are you experiencing any other problems?
