Default 88' 90 Q Will not start after short run time.

I have started the car and ran it for about 10 to 15 mins turned it off and it will not start till it sits for a while. It will turn over for a while then the oil warning light comes on. Whats up with this? What gasket is used for the valve cover ruber or cork.

A fuel pump checkvalve, if bad, will allow fuel to run back into the tank. The symtoms you discribe, sound
alot like this valve. It is located on the fuel pump.

I've got the same problem with my 2.3 NG. I was looking for solution everywhere and checking all the staff (temperature sensors, fuel pump, etc). And everything was OK.

The cause was in starter-It was totally spent. But it was good enough to start a cold car after night stay, but if only I turned it off when car was still cold I couldn't start it again because the starter was taking to much voltage, and there were to little energy for ignition system.
I've given the starter to regeneration and now car starts like new in any situation and temeprature

So check it, maybe it's the same problem - but not only check it if it runs ok (mine did). When I'd dissasembled my starter it'd turned out that it was completly destroyed inside.

I had allmost the same problem with my 87.5 coupe, found that the Intake boot was split at the bottom of the bellows. when cold, the car would start via the cold start valve. then when it was slightly warm the cold start valve would'nt spray . found the false air leak and the problem went away, drove me nuts for a while. good luck.If the air won't draw through the intake, the plentum in the fuel dist. won't raise to allow the injectors the spray.
