So sometimes when I try to start the motor it won't start up, even if the tank is full or empty or what level it is it has the same problem. Now your like well how do you get it started when you have this problem. What I do is I rock the car back and forth and it'll start up after that. It only happens sometimes and it's pretty random I think it depends on the incline of the hill I'm on. Anyone else have similiar problems and any idea what in esoteric audiworld it could be?

 

Have you changed the fuel filter?

Yep. First thing I did was replace the fuel filter. No luck there... Hmm spark when it's not starting, not sure, I should check out next time. Why what could that be? I do know I can hear the fuel filter turning on before trying to start it, and the starter going when I try to start it up but I'm not sure about the spark, think it might be bad spark plugs?

 

well you need 3 basics for a combustion motor to work .... air , fuel, fire .... start with the bassics

 

rocksteady_racer did you ever find a fix for your problem? My audi just does not want to start. It was running great, then the next day it would not start at all.
