alarm
no data on that car in the UK because they were discontinued in 1990 and replace with the 80 series but not that it matters,
does it have movement sensors and do you have a button on the dash to switch them off when not in the car ( most do because people have pets and they set the alarm off ),
is the condition of the battery good ( do you keep it fully charged up ) because if it drops to below 12v it sets the alarm off, with the older cars people tend to leave them standing for some time because they have other cars and that's not good for the battery,
clean the button for the hood this is the most common fault because it gets rusty contacts,
just a couple of things to help you out

as far as a motion sensor goes i have no idea. battery is always charge, i use it at least every other day. i dont believe i have a button but im not exacly sure. cleaning up the hood button seems the most logical to me but ill try a few stuff and see what happens. thanx for the help
