Default Brake question?

I have a 1987 Audi 5000S with the 2.3L engine, front wheel drive, and all wheel disc brakes. Just recently, I changed both the front brake pads and rotors. Another thing recently I replaced was the power stearing fluid because of it being milky and hoping that it would solve my problem. My question is that the brake pedal is very stiff when I press on them and it takes it longer than what it should take to come to a stop. It feals like that brakes are not gripping well. But when I come to the end of the brakeing, the brakes grips more than it did throughout the time it takes to brake. Well, thanks in advance.

Sounds like there is a booster/power assist problem. Did you bleed the brakes? could be a pinhole/other in the booster itself. Do you have to push really hard to get it to stop?
