Brake pad question with brake upgrade

I just got my A8 12.3mm rotors and tt carriers in, need some pads. Do I use stock pads or go larger?

pads go with calipers, not rotors. Simply put, stock replacements

could you go larger ( if that equals greater stopping power to compliment the larger diam. rotors ) if you wanted, Cincy?

You can, but that would be with larger ormulti piston caliper.
