Default Info on OIL

Hi there,

Maybe anyone can tell me how the oldness of the OIL can affect the ussage of petrol.
I live in cold country. The temperatures this winter were around -30 celsius. Maybe it is better to use mineral 5w oil?
The car is 12y old Audi Cabrio.
Second question. Does exhaust system do any influence to engine perfomance?

well if there is a restriction in the exaust it rubes off the power, couse the cylinders cannot emty all the way.

mostly happens when the catalitic clogs up, so only way is to replace. It is chekable by the vacuem test.

In such harsh environment I would use only synthetic oil.

Unless your stock exhaust is plugged going oversize on a stock engine is not going to give you noticeable increase in hp.
