Does anyone know how to reset the ecu on an 03 audi a4? My brake light out warning continously comes on when its working fine. I tried disconnecting the battery but no luck.
Any suggestions?

 

Well disconnecting battery usually works, but anyway, press the pedal and hold it down for 30 sec or so after removing the neg battery cable from the neg battery terminal.. the theory is that the brake lights will use any residual current that is in the system.

 

No doesnt work. It must be a short in the circuit.

 

unplug for 20 to 30 minutes. Make sure u have a radio code and the radio will go into safe mode.

 

What do you mean by Radio Code?
