I had an issue with a hard starting, and eventually non starting 2.8 30v a4. I had the cam sensor replaced a few weeks back. Now, the car starts, but it needs to crank for 5-10 seconds. Could this be an issue with the sensor being bad? Or is it more likely a bad fuel pump or control module. The car will eventually start and runs fine once it's going. Will the car even run with a bad fuel pump or control module? I used to hear a noise from the back of the car when I would turn the key to "on". It doesn't do that anymore. Is that the pump priming the system or something like that?
