Default 2002 TT ECU flash question

Hello all. I recently purchased a 2002 Audi TT with 82,000 miles, 180HP model. I am considering having a stage 1 APR tune done to my ECU to get a power boost. my question is since my turbo has 82,000 on it is it a bad idea to go stage 1 since it considerably increases the boost? will it shorten the life of my turbo allot, or even blow the turbo? any help on this matter would be great

thanks!

Everyone says it wont kill the Turbo, but it pretty much doubles the boost (depends on your turbo) so to me that means it would cut its life in half and nothings worse than pieces of tubro rolling through your engine. I am no expert and don't let me misslead you, people a lot smarter than me say your Turbo will be fine I'm literally getting the same thing on Tuesday for my A4 and its got 120K on it! So I say go for it!!
