Default 99 audi a4 quatro random 4,5,6 cyl misfire

ok so i have a 99 audi a4 quatro 2.8l automatic and recently it has started to miss at idle and randomly when i drive, not all the time though. i have had problem with bank 2 o2 sensor 1 i have put two separate new o2s in it and every time i test it it seems fine but randomly it will come up with a no signal detected. i checked the stft and its at -28% on bank 2 which is horrible any ideas?

have u scanned with vagcom? I'm currently having issues with g28-crankshaft sensor. My car was missing and now it won't start. Vagcom gave me the g28 error and this is apparently a fairly common problem that will show up out of nowhere once the sensor warms up. When it cools down, it'll run fine. In my case, it doesnt run at all; but i would try scanning it and go from there.

am new to this site but here are a few things to do first-1 clean all contacts and connectors yup grounds included to,yeah it sucks but is worth the time-2 dialectric grease is your best friend-alot of problems can be fixed by verifying whats going on instead of chasing possible sensor ghosts-verify what you have after cleaning things up-it may look different- best of luck

Post Zipped up pdf from shop service manual

Download this and unzip it and look in the MFI folder and take a look at the
24-1 Motronic Multiport Fuel Injection and ignition system.pdf and if that doesn't help let me know and I'll dig deeper.
