Default 04 Audi a6 Random Misfire

I recently changed my alternator, battery, spark plugs, & coils. All brand new and oem. I even got a vacuum leak and compression test. And both test has passed. I or my friends and euro performance in Clifton, NJ cant seem to figure it out. Can anyone help us out or give us any other ideas to approach this task. It is an 04 audi a6 2.7t s-line. P.S. it doesn't have an icm because it is a BEL engine to get that out the way.

Did you pull any codes? Sometimes radom missfire code p0300 shows up with P0301 - P0306, indicating which cylinder is misfiring. If 301-303 show up then bank 1 cylinders are the problem, 304-306 = bank 2.
Since you did plugs & coils, it's possible that ignition control module for either bank 1 or bank 2 is bad. Pull codes.

There is no ignition control module on bel engines which is engines from 2003 and up. Push down coils have them integrated into each one of them. The firing order is ran by the ecu and the icm is integrated into the coils. I think i have a short to the grounds of the coil wires. Becuase the only wire that all meets up into to one wire from the coils is the ground. Any comments?
