hi i own a a3 170 sline quattro, 56 plate 55k miles,just last week, driving along road, car seemed strange, tried down a gear then car just lost power 40mph max in 6th, turned off ignition and restart car took off again, then same happened around 50mph
any experiances/suggestions.

 

Did you have a check engine light on at all? does it drive fine besides it losing power? how is it idling?
