A4 3.0 Cab 2003 Air Mass Meter Fault
I purchased my DREAM car about 3 months ago....disposing of my Trusty A4 1.8 Sedan 2000 with sadness.
Since taking delivery the car has spent a fair time at the agent rectifying faults. All sorted except a problem whare the car suddenly dies and the ESP light on the display comes on. The car will start but as soon as you place your foot on the accelerator the engine dies. Had the car towed in and they suspected the Battery which was replaced. This did not rectify the problem and the Air Mass Meter was replaced. All fine....did about 3 000 km and once again the car does the exact same thing... Towed back to the Agent who deduces that the Air Mass Meter was a faulty one and they replaced it again. All fine for about 1 800 Km and once again same problem. It is now back at the Agent who is now totaly confused and frustrated.
Has anybody had a similar problem or any advice would be welcome.
Must say I am enjoying the Courtesy Car an A3 1.8 T Sportback 2010 Model.
