Just got the APR chip last saturday. A couple hours later I noticed that the little screen between the guages stopped displaying how many miles i have left in the fuel tank. I know it works because it displays "press the clutch to start the car" thing but after the car starts, it doesn't display anything. Is it possible that the APR chip screwed with that display? Or is there a way to turn that on/off??

The car is a 2001 S4

Lol, when I first got the car and didn't have the manual yet I bumped it and thought my dash was going out. I was soooo pissed.

 

hey can you tell us how you fixed it? i turned off the car wit hthe wipers on... then turned it on and turned the wipers off and now i have the same issue as you... i get the intial msg and i can still "check" the system, but all other options go blacked out when i put the car in drive...

tried everything

 

Theres a reset button on the bottom of the wiper blade stalk, press that once to turn the readout on/off. Hold it if you want to clear the avg mpg and all that stuff...
