dieseling after engine is shut off

Hey guys,

We've got a 2000 Audi A4 Quatro 1.8T. At times when you turn the engine off it continues to chug (dieseling). Any ideas on what might be the problem?

This is my daughter's A4. Finally got to drive it. Problem is a little different than described. I will make a new post.
