Default HELP...B7 A4 Gas Leak

Gas leaking rear passenger side just before wheel. Both senders/pumps under rear seat have been replaced at shop with in the past week. Fuel filter is good. Cabin smell gets really bad and then comes the leak. I picked up the car from shop the other day, drove about 10 minutes, stopped to get gas..went in to pay(no leak), come out to pump and its pouring out gas(car was not running). This has happened about 3-4 times before and after pumps were replaced. One time when the car was moving. Any idea's?

You need to remove the rear seat and see what exactly is going on when it leaks.

Most likely I think the shop pitched the washer seal for the fuel pump. Remove the rear seat and the cover then check if you is coming around the fuel pump area.

Thanks for the info...all fixed now. With the new pump there is supposed to be a nipple and for some reason the 1st shop that did the work, didn't put it on, so it was blowing fuel out.
