I think you are thinking of the traction control

Traction & stability are tied in together.

According to dealer they work together but you can only minimize traction control. When you shut if off what is happening is that you are raising the limits. Dealer tells me the car will not allow you to hang the rear out. Also there is not work around such as pulling a fuse. Stasis tells me they are working on a software fix but they have no idea when this will be done. The factory has a re-flash that they use on their race cars but they won't release it. I believe the fix is out there in the aftermarket with someone who does not work directly with the factory or is factory approved.

If you want a car to hang the rear out , you should get a M5. We purchased the Audi for the traction.

I want to be able to control the car at the track. I have a Porsche cup car for racing.
