I just accidentally simplified my vapor recovery system and now I cannot fill the fuel tank without the fill nozzle kicking off.

I have a 2002 Audi A4 1.8t wagon. I got a left rear flat tire that took out everything in the wheel well! I lost the charcoal canister, filter, electronic sensor of some sort- possibly other items. The car runs but it is difficult to fill and CEL is on and thus I will not pass inspection.

I am hoping someone can draw a simplified diagram of what I lost or what I need to be able to fill fuel tank and get CEl to go off.
