Default warranty

i Dont think you have to take it to the dealer but i do believe you must use an audi certified mechanic that will update your service book, audi is very touchy about things like oil changes if they arent done by a cert. mech. and something goes wrong your likely to be stuck with the bill, I would check with audi of America on this issue and get it in writing.

having someone else do your maintenance will not void your extended warranty. Not to mention, they would have to prove that any damage covered by warranty could have been prevented with regularly scheduled maintenance.
