Dealer and test driving already purchased car

I have purchased factory ordered car. I'm not able to pick it up from the dealer immediately. Is dealer allowed to give my car for test drive to other people?

I don't believe so - if you have a contract on it, it's YOUR car.

I'm not sure if they CAN'T let other people test drive it (other than the tech that does the PDI) but a reputable dealer WOULDN'T allow it.

Good answer. If you have a deposit down and a purchase contract, a dealership would be ill advised to use the car as a demo.

Why not simply tell the sales person or sales manager that you expect to see only delivery mileage on the odometer and any more miles will kill the deal.
