I live next to Audi of Alexandria. I know what they do to your cars.
I live next door to this dealership and I feel very sorry for Audi owners. I will never buy an Audi because of the horrible things I see.
First of all, the mechanics drive all the cars that have been brought in for service. That part is fine, but they're driving them to McDonald's and 7-11, stop and get food, and then come back eating in the cars. That's it. I've followed them and seen it happen.
Second, the little bit they do drive, they are driving like maniacs. A mechanic once drove an Audi out of the garage into another car. I saw it happen and I saw them doing body work on both cars the next day. I hope they told the owners about it.
The carwashes they give before returning cars are actually forbidden by zoning. So the driveway is totally torn up because of the water damage. The alignment on my car is constantly messed up because of this. Of course, the mechanics drive the cars in for service at high speeds over the potholes.
The mechanics also spend about three hours a day in nice weather playing football in the driveway. I can't tell you how many times I have seen a football or a mechanic slam into the hood of a car left there for service.
Not to mention, they are incredibly rude. They park cars brought in for service in the fire lane. I've started calling the fire department. I am pretty sure the owners will be ticketed, rather than the dealership. The old service manager, who no longer works there, was the rudest person imaginable.
Their employees park in the apartment building lot, even though they are not supposed to. When the glass repair subcontractor comes, they do it in the apartment lot, even blocking in residents cars. The day my grandmother died, I had to wait an extra 2 hours to leave my apartment because a mechanic had instructed a tow truck driver to drop a car off behind my car, and they wouldn't move it, even though I was sobbing in their office asking them to move it so I could go see my mom.
They are absolutely terrible, horrible human beings. Whenever I have complained about any of the behaviors (and I have photos of these things now!), the old service manager told me I was making it up.
You shouldn't bring your car here because they will treat it terribly.
